5 years ago, I was scrolling through recommendations while laying in bed with my new love. We fell in love with this song and listened to it a lot over the years. I remember it blaring on the radio through all those sunsets and late night drives down winding backroads. He passed away 4 weeks ago today, leaving behind our two kids. This is the first time I've been able to listen to this song and it hits me hard in my grief. I'm still halfway to nowhere, indeed 💔

as a teenager we most find ourselves in immense depression because of our looks but my grandpa told me a very special thing to me to this day that cured it all "look, when you get older which is inevitable, you will not care about your looks because your old, you will look back into your teenage days and remember when you still cared about stuff like that, and when you are scared about dyeing inevitably, remember that it will come out of no where and you will not even notice it happening, like most people you will die in your sleep and know nothing at all. you wont feel anything and will not think anything, you will be eternally at peace knowing that nothing happened, live your life how you like it and don't take everything so seriously, just have fun and laugh at your mistakes."
