I started listening to them because a girl I liked in middle school had āThe Strokesā written on her backpack in sharpie, so naturally I had to research and discover this awesome band. She never was interested in me but I was hooked with this band. Introduced them to my girlfriends there on after. So many memories, good and bad, with their music. Iām about to be 24 but those memories never fade when I put on one of their records.
