I cared for her during her battle with lung cancer and held her while she passed, the first thing i did was have a cigarette and cry with my sister. This song hits me. Every raw emotion digs itās way into my soul, to the point that I forget to breathe halfway through it. You have conveyed the moment of a loved ones passing to the very bone. With this song I am there, yet at the same time I am healing. It makes me feel as if Iām not alone, like there is a life that can coincide with my own, if only briefly. My father who was born in Burma passed in 1999. He moved to the US in the early 60s. This album/song has been helping me with the grief from that great loss. THANK YOUā¤ļøāš„

Wow. There's a reason Gang of Youths is my favorite band. Their music is so real and raw and beautiful and always so poignant. And always so musically and lyrically compelling and intriguing. It just pulls you right in and you get lost within the music. It's honestly magical
