I'm so obsessed with this song, and I love how there are two sides from each of their perspective. It's absolutely needed and just put so much emotions into the storytelling aspect. Ugh, this is everything π₯°

This is definitely my favourite song on the album. The strumming and chord progression, the drums, and the soaring vocals gives it a 2000s throwback feel, and it's definitely reminiscent of Avril's earlier work - specifically "The Best Damn Thing" album, which was my anthem in middle school. This is a really nerdy, deep cut, but the beginning of the song also reminds me of the opening song for Yugioh GX, which also aired in the early-mid 2000s and reminds me of my teen years, and it only makes me love this song even more. This is the punk pop-rock princess we know and love! <3

After her hiatus and head above water, i've already accepted that she's matured with her sound and wouldve never imagined that she'd go back to her pop punk sound. But the whole MGK and Travis Barker thing happened, she got together with mod sun, and signed to travis' record label, and here we are. It's so awesome to see pop punk being popular again since I've never experienced the 2000's era of pop punk since i was a fetus when it happened. All hail pop punk revival!
