A 50mm is also an interesting lense. It is great for vlogging because it is a short throw, perfect for the talking head style of blogging and it give backgrounds a really beautiful soft boke effect. Since it is a single focal length, it is shorter and lighter, also. Nyway, my unasked for 2 cents.
