What pains me is that some of the goated emo bands like we the kings, mayday parade, dashboard confessional, bayside etc will probably get like 20 to 30 minute sets.

i went to the iowa knotfest last year and it lasted the same amount of time as this festival will. it was like 99° out, water was $4 per bottle, food was running out by 4-5 pm, it was exactly 30,000 people, there was no personal space room for anyone at all, and my whole right arm is discolored from the sunburn damage i got. that is the first time i went to a festival, and it will personally be the last. i have a real bad feeling about this festival

This should have definitely been a weekend thing. Inkcarceration here in Ohio at the Shawshank prison had less bands and was a full three day festival

I could not believe that AFI would actually go and play this festival. That's not really their style these days. But apparently, according to their website, they ARE going to play at this festival.. wow... would've been amazing to go, but I'm in Europe. Have fun and enjoy the nostalgia!

I went on 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise where 70 bands played non-stop for 4 days & 3 nights. We were able to see everyone we wanted to and got no sleep 🤪🤘🏻

I see that quite a few of the bands have tweeted about the festival so that lends a lot of legitimacy. The biggest names have not tweeted anything, but then again, this festival probably is not a massive thing for them.

The Lovers & Friends tour is the same exact line up both days. Your ticket also only allows you to go to one of the days, not both.

One of the issues with “no way to do 67 bands in one day” was ORIGINALLY on their website it said they would have three stages. They’ve now changed it to “multiple stages”. They’ve also added an hour to the run time. It’s listed as 11a-12a now. They thought they could just sneak that change in there. And people are now being like “they never said that 😤” when they definitely did.
