That first track though, I remember way back when... Erm, got to be around 94 I heard my first "Pyschill" (called a blanket term of trance back then, everything was just Goa Trance/Trance), I had my flat filled with people, must have been 25 in my small front room - we was all mashed as fuck, all pilled up, speeding, drinking, smoking - wow, what a night. Didn't hardly know anyone (back in those days, you could invite whoever back to your flat and people would be respectful, nice, decent!). Well, it was about 4.30 in the morning, this is the time when everyone starts to mong out, to veg - you can't and don't want to sleep, but you pysically cannot ingest any more drugs, apart from maybe a beer and a spliff. I can remember turning all the lights off, and I was in control of the music.
Lots of people round were not into trance or anything but then.. But, they used to do pills and go to pubs clubs... Well, can remember putting this track up, loud as fuck. I made sure that everyone dropped at least a pill about 40 mins before, so everyone was coming up.. .I put this track on;

It was the first Pyschill, if you will, I ever listened too, and I swear - every single person in that room fking loved it - maybe it was the pills, dunno... But, wow, what a feeling. So, whenever I hear a good track now, I always imagine what it would be like back then. They were good times man, amazing times. So much has changed, friends / family (including my best mate and my dad) have passed over now. The 90's was the last great decade the UK will ever know. When I cross-over, I will be happy that I lived through such times. Enjoy being young, and don't worry about life. It will catch up with you, just enjoy being young man.
