Michael is the only person that can make a 40 minute video feel like 20 minutes. Like legitimately, if you watched this video twice, i'd be the length of a full feature film

I remember first watching this when it came out and being super dissapointed about category jamming being the ultimate answer. And then Michael immediately rejecting it and showing something so interesting itā€™s been on my mind for years. Michael Stevens is one of the greatest communicators Iā€™ve had the privilege to learn from

Surely the most scary thing that everyone can feel is when you tip your chair back just that little bit too far.

I loved to catch grasshoppers as a child, never feared them until one day out of the blue. I can't remember exactly what I was thinking of but I know it was something scary, I was also holding a grasshopper in my hand thinking nothing of it and then I felt a sudden sharp pain in my hand. The grasshopper actually bit me and I was shocked as I didn't think grasshoppers could bite. In my shock I actually dropped the grasshopper and when I tried to pick it up again, I discovered I could not. My hands were actually shaking at the thought. To this day I now have a fear of touching grasshoppers. It's not a problem if they are around me but I cannot physically touch them. The experience always stuck with me. I always link the experience to the scary thought I had at the time, the unexpected bite and that at the time I was alone.

I almost wonder, in regard to patient SM and the other folks who couldn't feel fear, is it possible that their fear response was higher because this was the first time in literal decades that something made them afraid?
