Be it the raw and passionate underground OGs with hardcore roots, the straight up melodeath with breakdowns, or the energetic modern metal bands that would further popularize the genre ā there's a certain substantial vibe in the sound of melocore from this particular time that has me return to it over and over again. This playlist/mix contains all of the aforementioned, I hope you enjoy this selection as much as I do.
As always, I unfortunately had to exclude a few bands that could cause some heavy restrictions on the video,
primarily speaking for Darkest Hour, As I Lay Dying and All That Remains here :(

Wow I'm really surprised how many of these bands in this Playlist are from Germany (Fear My Thoughts, Fall Of A Season, Soulgate's Dawn, Deadsoil, Turns To Ashes, The Autumn's Bleeding, Maroon, Bury My Sins, Enraged by Beauty, BLACKEST DAWN, Feast for the Crows, ARISE, Absidia)
Before I only knew Caliban was from Germany out of these bands, but I didn't expect so many more other bands are from Germany too. That's really cool!

Behind the origins of melodic metalcore lies not simple hardcore, but metallic hardcore. + Use of melodic death riffs and melody. I also donāt rule it out (and I wonāt, since many people donāt talk about it) Using chugging riffs. Chugging riffs are low frequency riffs on the last strings.
