I have a little story... So basically my brother when he was little he liked playing soccer, but my mom said he should stop wasting his time and become another profesion like doctor or computer expert, but my brother said he would one day become a soccer player. Even my dad said he is just going to end up homeless, without a job and his friends will succeed more than him. So one day he got shouted for taking back because he said I will become a soccer player.... He felt like he wasn't getting support from his parents, he even thought of sucide....... But then one time at school he played a game there then some scouts drive by and wanted to take a look how good the players where, they caught my brother doing very good, they then came to him after school and asked if he could train with them to show the scouts how good he really is. But he needed to talk to his parents so he asked them but they didn't belive him, because they thought he was going to a gang. Then he called the coach if he could take him, and they did, after the training the coach was impressed, so they offered him a professional contract to play with youth clubs of big teams. 7 years later, he is now playing in a professional soccer team, in Montreal impact

My parents care more about my grades than my personality. I try so hard to be nice, and I really do give it my all on school work, but I have grades just good enough to get by. My sisters are honestly just the worst people I've met in my life, and they cheat on schoolwork and tell my parents about it. My mother has told me "If cheating would make your grades better then do it". Yes, I do get frustrated a lot with the fact that everyone around me is doing their work easily and I just don't understand. But I'm also comforted at school knowing that I am surrounded by people that I love. We go through everything together. If I get into college then I'm satisfied. Because when we die, no one is going to say "They made straight A's" at their funeral. They are going to say "They were such a kindhearted person. They always wanted to make people happy" and that's what I aspire to be remembered as. It saddens me that we are given 13 years to form a bond with these people that we are around every single day and some of them don't even know each other's names. When we met we were 5 years old, when we leave, we are adults. Some of the most valued lessons I have learned at school by teachers and classmates, were not even about school.

I used to be scared to give my opinion on things because everytime my parents asked me a question I would say my answer and they would always scold me for picking "the wrong answer" and tell me to pick the other instead. I always thought my answer would be wrong so everytime someone asked me a question I got used to saying "idk" everytime bc I was scared they'd yell at me for picking what I wanted instead of what they wanted. When I went to a restaurant with my aunt one day she asked me what I wanted and I said "idk..." and I was very hesitant and anxious to hear her reply. She asked me why I always said idk whenever someone asked me a question and I was silent. However my aunt is a family psychologist so she kinda figured what was going on on her own lol. She told me that I should've be afraid to give an answer because the question is for the own benefit of myself, and if I was able to tell people what I wanted I could get it, instead of getting something I didn't want. Till now I'm still a little anxious to answer people's questions but I improved a lot since about a year or two ago :)
