This song has SO many meanings...to me, it feels like the singer has such an intense love for someone else that it causes both joy and sadness in them. They tether between the two constantly, questioning if they even deserve to be loved back while praising the one they love. But, the one they love also feels the same. So along with their own insecurities, they have to constantly make sure that their love knows they will never abandon them.
