I don't know whether this is just a coincidence but today is mother's Day. To me this has always been a no no day. Been avoiding it all my life because I didn't have a mother. A loving mother (was placed in foster care at some point). I'm listening to these mantras for the first time (about shifting negativity to positivity) and all morning I was showered with text messages or WhatsApp messages of guys whom I know like me (some of them have a crush on me) and they all wished me a happy mother's Day.. I replied to the first one thanking him but also that I had grown up without a mother and I am not a mother myself but thanks anyway but this day is NOT my day..but the other messages arrived back to back and I didn't feel like replying the same shit again so I'm keeping silent.
Like I said, it might just be a coincidence but my heart is full of hatred towards my mother and 2 minutes into the first mantra and I burst into tears.
