Langa ran towards you, one hand carrying his skateboard and the other waving.
“Hey, Lasagna, what’s up?
“But my name isn’t-“
“It is now. Now, are we gonna skate or not?” you set your skateboard on the floor and prepared while he did the same. “Heh. Don’t go easy on me just cause we’re dating, alright?”
“I could never- wait, we’re dating-?” he stuttered out, but you had already started and were pretty far ahead.
“Hey! That’s not fair!!” he shouted with a smile and skated after you. Despite how skinny Langa looked, he could skate like you wouldn’t believe. However, being friends with him and Reki had its perks, and you weren’t doing too bad yourself.
“Aww, come on, Snow boy, is that all you’ve got?” you teased as you turned around a corner.
He just smiled, and before you knew it, he was ahead of you.
This feeling of being with him… it was something you had never felt before. It felt like… where you were supposed to be. You wanted to skate with him forever.

You were nearing the finish line, and you leaned forward, grinning in anticipation. To you, it seemed as you crossed it simultaneously.
“Yep, Langa definitely won.” Reki remarked, waiting for you guys with Miya.
“Ah, geez. I let you win, you know?” you went to sit with them.
“It didn’t look like it-“ Miya started, but was interrupted by Langa.
“That’s not important, we’re dating now??”
The brunette and the redhead stared at you.
