Fwiw there are two separate units in AoE1 that use the same skin, but very different weapons. The Nuke Trooper and the Laser Trooper. Laser Trooper is what you showed here, and uses the cheatcode "photon man", but it appears as though the AoE2 version of it (which I never knew existed before this video) is based on the "e=mc2 trooper" Nuke Trooper cheatcode, which shoots big blasts as a slower rate.

Ahhh kinda wish they had rapid fire red lasers, like the original, which was similar to Star Wars or something :D Still so cool!!! All my AOE1 childhood shenanigans are coming back to me!

we need the ecm trooper back also, lets do this playmode. a squad of imperial guardsmen stranded on a feudal world. only have 24 troopers 2 squads cand cant advance age.

Never happened before, but you can always bet that Windows updates will break something. :D Original Note: I don't know why, but there are some slight popping sounds in the video that came out of nowhere after rendering.
