As a Brazilian, to listen and read the girls saying puta (referring to Portugal) is hilarious. In portuguese language we use it as a curse word in Brazil and since we used to be a Portuguese colony it's very ironic too.

fun fact! "puta" in portuguese means "whore" (so of course i was giggling when it appeared in the subtitles when jane was talking about portugal. it's pronounced differently tho)

Interesting that Korean either follows Chinese or English. I wonder what countries have a truly Korean name for them.

The reason why there's a extra “e” sound in 俄罗斯(é luó sī)is that the name of Russian in Chinese is borrowed from Mogolian language,in which a word is not allowed to start with the “r” sound

This different names show concept is good, and you should do more like this. But you should put the Korean and Chinese words as labels on the video (written and phonetically), as it's difficult to make out the spoken words sometimes.

Glad to see attaching mics to clothes to get better sound, but it doesn't seem to be in the video. Still sounds like camera mic. You have such great energy and insights, and it would be even better if we can hear your sweet voices as clearly as possible. Keep up the great work of sharing cultures.

The Chinese word for Germany "德国" is short for "德意志 ", which is actually a transliteration of the word "Germany" in German, which is "Deutschland". The same case for the Korean word "독일", as far as I know.

This was really interesting. I hope you do a part 2. I'd like to hear the difference for Australia, India, Egypt, Canada, Philippines & New Zealand. Actually, I pretty much would like to hear all of the countries.

Now, when I go to talk to someone and they ask my nationality... "I'm from Brasil, Brazil, Beurajil and Bāxī." 😂😂😂
