My parents could never afford a car for me, Iāve worked hard for everything I have. The disrespect that girl showed her mother was appalling. I would not only take the car back, Iād take the phones, computers, tablets, tvs, games, etc. my child would have nothing until they learned to appreciate what Iāve worked hard to provide.

In 2022 I gave my 16 yr old a 2005 Chevy Aveo with rust rot, crank windows, a cracked windshield, and enough dog hair and coffee spills to really give that beater car feel. And she LOVED it.

In 1996 I got my sister's old car, an 88 Ford Taurus. 2 years later it blew a head gasket and my parents got me a 94 baretta. I drove that until 2002 when I went into the Navy. In 2010 I paid cash for a 2010 BMW 528i (e60) and I still have that. I am so fortunate I got every one of those cars. My parents are amazing. They didn't have to get me a car.
