I'm 12, I've been having trouble sleeping. The caption caught me, as I read through the comments I realized that this isn't my place. I'm a very bubbly person and I normally don't cry during the night. Seeing so many people broken so much they feel the need to cry. Stay strong, remember the people that brought you here. Hello dear people of the internet, It is currently 3 in the morning. A Thursday on Spring break. I currently am just listening to this playlist, thinking, having trouble sleeping, but, that's okay. I will eventually be okay. It will all be better eventually. right? I just need to be patient. right?. I just really hope it is soon because I'm really exhausted and tired. To whoever may be reading this, thank you. I hope you have an amazing day, after noon, or night. I love you even if I don't know you. Remember, you're enough. Remember, to drink some water, get a snack, whether it is small or not, get some rest, take a break if you're tired, you can only do so much. I love you. and, it is my time to get some rest too. My teachers always said “you’re almost at that age where you’re going to go through changes”. I always thought, I’d get a deeper voice. Grow taller. Maybe get facial hair. While all of these things happened, I never thought I would start thinking differently. I notice my old feelings of pure happiness and innocence fading away rapidly. The old me is still in there, but the old want of a friend has turned into the want of someone more. Someone to hold. Someone to protect. Someone to love.

It's ok to cry, sometimes the tears just need to come out. Cry as much as you want, as much as you can, scream if necessary, throw your feelings to the winds and the stars.
And when you reach that point where you just feel empty and tired, blow your nose, go drink a big glass of water, rinse your face, and lie down in bed. Close your eyes, breathe deeply. In, and out. Relax your muscles, from your feet, through your legs, to your torso, to your shoulders and neck, to your fingertips. In, and out.
And now think of the beauty of life. Think of the sweet song of the birds that gently wakes you in the morning, of the light that comes through your window, of the wind that shakes the branches of the trees, of the orange foliage of the trees that plays with the light, of these people you have met and who were like a ray of sunshine in your life, to those you will meet and who will be just as much.
And now let yourself slide, slowly, half-dreaming, into the soft arms of Morpheus, and sleep as much as you can, as much as your body wants, as much as your mind allows. Tomorrow is a new day, tomorrow you will make it, you will find that piece that is missing in your heart. Tomorrow will await you, but for now, just think about the peace of the moment.
