what is odd is that runway models have actually made me feel confident over the years with how unique and different they can all look whereas growing up with social media and instagram, âInstagram modelsâ are the ones that actually made me feel insecure and not worthy of my body and face.

I think the reason why runway models don't make us feel as insecure as Instagram models do is because that runway model lifestyle isn't supposed to look attainable for the regular folks. These people are very tall and naturally thin, they're wearing very expensive and generally odd clothing that is probably not even wearable out in the world. Instagram, on the other hand, somehow promotes an idea of an attainable lifestyle, like you see this girl with a banging but somewhat realistic body type and you think yeah I could look like that with some work outs and if I ate a certain way.

Says a lot about our world when runway models who are stereotypically seen as "snobby" are actually down to earth, more real than these "inclusive" Instagram models. "I'm against plastic surgery" gets plastic surgery. "I don't really like photoshop" photoshops pictures to "enhance".
