The real problem is that this posture formed in a decade and now we all want it to go away in a week :((

These exercises open up my rib cage so much and make my breathing a lot easier, I didn’t know how much my posture was affecting my breath!

Had a lady in the coffee shop I was studying at (uh. you know. back when we were going places with other people in them) loudly comment to her friend about how hunchbacked The Youths are these days and how it makes us all look prematurely old which. I was right next to them & actively slumped over while studying. Like... I am right here and CAN in fact hear you lol. If my neck wasn't legit stiff I would never do a back exercise again out of pure spite. Alas this... actually does make my neck & upper back feel better. Mean Cafe Lady wins this one.

Did the exercises while he was demonstrating them. Instant pain relief. I’m going to make it part of my morning routine.

I just wanted to thank you. Two week ago I reached a point where I could no longer cope with my upper back pain after 20 years of agony. Today, after watching your videos on forward head posture and acting on them, just two weeks on I am only experiencing very mild pain and I know I can get rid of it completely it I carry on like this. You’ve changed my life and I’m very grateful. Thank you.

I've been doing the YWLT for a year now and my neck no longer hurts. I do a variation: I hold each position for a count of 30, 3 times a week. After a year of doing this, my upper back and chest are much stronger and my neck pain is gone because my posture is straight and I stand up straight. It's an amazing change that makes feel much better about myself and more confident about how I look at 70. It has led to many related adjustments. When I look down, for example when cooking, I keep my cervical spine straight and bend my head. This exercise has been life-changing and for that, I am so grateful.

For anyone just starting their journey, IT WORKS! Please don't give up. With daily effort, your posture can literally become unrecognizable. It's possible and SO worth it! Focus on all 3; stretching, behavior, and strength (in that order). If you have more than one area of your spine to address, make sure to work your way from feet to head. And if you have forward head posture, you can't really fix it without addressing your pelvis and spine first. Good luck! =)

I've been doing these for years and they do work! As we age and slow down a bit, it's very important to maintain posture and bone strength. Thank you for an excellent and simple video to follow!

I went to a chiropractor and it charged me $60 for an adjument then they asked me that I may need some x-rays which is another $60 the next day they ask me that if I wanted to fix my back including some exercises and stretching my rings on my spinal cord that’s a total was going to be $4100. I am glad that I declined the request because the simple exercises you are showing him this video it’s more than enough of what I need. Thank you very much for this video
