I love thIs time capsule you've put together here. Low and Station to Station are my 2 favourite Albums. I was 73 yrs old on 1/4/2024 just 2 weeks ago ! I've been a Big Fan of this Iconic Individual since I heard Space Oditty in 1969, I travelled from Manchester to see him perform at London's Wembley Empire pool in May 1976 in his Thin White Duke guise and watched him perform most of his Station to Station Masterpiece album, among a few old favouries. My ticket was £2.50 and I still have my ticket. I saw him perform 5 times. His Serious Moonlight tour at Milton Keyes Bowl in 1983 was a night I will never forget. My Ex wife was an Air France employee and when he came to perform at Manchester City;s old Football ground at Maine road on the 14th July in 1987 I was there with my ex wife and he had Terence Trent Derby and Alison moyet as warm up acts for what was known as his Glass Spider Tour. I've still got all my tickets and my ex wife heard through the grapevine he was flying out of Manchester after the tour.....she managed to catch him walking on the tarmac making his way across the Airfieldand a chance in amillion opportunity occurred....she had her photo taken by a journalist from the Stockport press of him signing his autograph on an Air France passenger Menu card for her.she traced the photo journalist and he posted a copy to her A4 size Black and white photo. I can still see the image in my mind ! I always wanted her to give it to me but divorce is messy ! .....I dont think she realises what it might be worth now Ziggy plays guitar up there in Heaven.....I sobbed as a teenager when Otis Redding died and again in 1984 when Marvin Gaye was shot by his own Father but with David its like losing a brother. I still haven't come to terms with his passing. I still haven't worked out how to upload photos to You tube so I could share my tickets for others to see. Maybe I should try again.

Driving on the Autobahn, listening to nothing but Kraftwerk's Autobahn like Bowie did.

As a 70s Bowie nut, I can also appreciate that he 'stole' his influences and made them palatable for mainstream people. LOW is a very cool, thoughtful and artistic album. It's also not as daring as its German inspiring bands. But Bowie's a pop star and couldn't escape that calling. Oh well, there's worse things to be. Eno was absolutely responsible for his instrumental direction, too. Eno is utterly amazing, too
