Led by Vanessa Briscoe Hay, legendary post-punk band Pylon helped bring worldwide attention to the Athens, GA music scene, which also spawned the B-52s, R.E.M., and the Elephant 6 collective. In 2014, Hay formed Pylon Reenactment Society, carrying the torch of Pylon while exploring new music directions. Their debut album "Magnet Factory" was released on Feb. 9 via Strolling Bones Records/New West. For their "Neighborhoods" session, the band performed two tracks from the album in their hometown.

Magnet Factory is without a doubt the album of the year. It may or may not get any awards, but it doesn't matter. It's vibrating with vibrancy!
