Anja! I'm not sure if you would read this but i'm wondering about the top meanings of the words ziehen and lassen. I've seen both used in situations that make me go "why use ziehen here" for example. I'm glad i found this video.

Great word. Always loved it. Love how it can be "go," "get going," "a lot going on" (es ist hier viel los), or even something like "on the way" (kind of like "unterwegs" that I've even heard before).

Thank you for this Anja! It helps a lot to understand the different uses. I now understand better that "los" is the same as loose/lose/lost in English, which have their root in LOS!

2- los|sein = to be a lot of things happening
3- los|gehen = to start, to commence [ugz.] - gehen can be ommitted when useing a modal verb "ich muss los = I must go"
4- los! = Yalla = lesssgooo
