Caravan is the hardest song I have learnt, so far... I am so proud to have been invited on to Drumeo at 13. I wanted to show everyone what I am currently capable of, and have as much fun as possible. I decided to play the hardest song I knew. Itâs tricky as itâs really fast and there is a lot to remember. I need a lot of stamina to play triplets on the hi-hat. Also the triplets on the kick are very difficult to perform at this speed. I gave it my best shot. I played to my tempo and I am proud of my performance.

I know Nandi likely wont see this comment, but I felt I should leave it anyways. Nandi Bushell is the definition of a prodigy. She's hard-working, dedicated, and motivated. Being a prodigy doesn't mean talent comes natural, it still requires serious effort. I've likely put in less hours in 25 years on the drums than she has in her lifetime. Her flawless polyrhythms and ghost notes only add to this spectacular performance. Kudos, Nandi - I wish you all the success in the world.

I've been playing drums in bands and on recordings for over 50 years and I wouldn't even dream of attempting this. Well done Nandi. I would just like to add for all the aspiring new drummers out there who might feel after watching this, that they'd never be good enough. If you don't have Nandi's determination and commitment, it's not the end of the World. There are a lot of bad drummers around that are still making a living. So if you don't have the means to put all the hours in, just aim to be "good enough" and you will still be better than many. Don't give up!
