I'm 70 years old and just started guitar lessons with no previous experience. Hoping to be able to play this genre of music in time. You're never too old to start 🤗🇬🇧 3 month update - after learning a load of chords, and a bunch of music theory, my tutor said I'm almost ready to play some actual tunes. All that from not even knowing how to hold a guitar properly 🤩

I'm from Portugal, next door to Spain. There is a comforting yet unexpected familiarity in these pieces, almost like meeting a long lost family member you grew up with. This is just beautiful stuff...nothing like the complex yet simple beauty of a nylon string guitar, like a mini orchestra capable of so many forms of expression. I can play a couple of these pieces, yet playing them well...that's different! It takes years and years of practice to be able to intentionally convey emotions through your technique. Hats off to the musicians who played these, muchas gracias!

I am Italian with Sicilian roots, but I was born and raised in the North part of the country. For some reason I feel like I don’t really belong here in the North, I want to reconnect with my southern origins and this guitar kinda helps me. South Italy has a strong bond with Spain

This soothes me, and I lay here in my bed so relaxed. Memories flash through my mind, as tears run down my cheek. I miss the simpler time when I was home.

All those who have compiled these collections of beautiful music regardless of instrument or era have contributed enormously, more than they may realize, to world peace and understanding. It brings me peace, I know. Soothing the soul of an injured world..
