You joke, but "Game design!" is literally Masahiro Sakurai's entire Youtube thing now. My man just retired from making games in favor of teaching people how to make games in excruciating detail, focusing on basically maximizing intuitive game feel.
Kirby works, and has always worked, because Sakurai knows his shit.
