I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not. - Kurt Cobain

This is the closest you'll ever come to a conversation with Kurt. It's by far the best interview he ever gave. He actually seems quite content.

So relieved that during one of his last interviews he was treated with such kindness. She’s a real professional

The interviewer was really good at her job here. She lets him talk all he wants and doesn’t interrupt him

This is Kurt's best interview. He was unusually relaxed, interested, and talkative. The journalist did a fantastic job bringing him out of his shell. 💗

This camera man is so good. Capturing details, following natural head movements. So personal. Wonderful questions from the interviewer. What an intimate look at a beautiful person.

I'm not Nirvana fan nor do I know much about him. I actually stumbled upon this interview and I must say I was so intrigued by his humility and kindness. I can totally see why so many people loved him. It saddens me to know he's gone. May his spirit and music continue to live on

over thirty years ago.... seems so unreal. He is there like somebody living nowadays. Kurt Cobain far ahead from his time, timeless. We keep you in our heart. Thank you for the music.

I like how he isn't blowing his smoke in interviewer's face

A lot of people say Nirvana is overrated but he is one of the most humble and relatable rockstars we’ve seen in the music industry. Finally a switch from the 80s hair metal bands. This is why Nirvana is still garnering new fans from younger generations.

When he said ‘I’ve always been nice’ with that expression, that broke my heart. I actually said aloud ‘awe sweetheart 🥺’ to comfort him.

It seems like the interviewer is genuinely interested in Kurt and wants to talk to him. I wish more interviews were like that these days.
