it’s so interesting how each song you’ve released so far has touched a different realm of emotions.
i love how datura starts off softly but eventually just releases everything onto you. the only breaths you can really hear are the quickening, wavering breaths of panic in the interlude. the vocals and lyrics really capture that feeling of paroxysm.
it really feels like this song springs from the same places that anachronism, drip and cephalotus came from. it’s as if you drained blood from each of those songs and after mixing it all it contorted into what datura is. i love it man

Just from the beginning melody I already knew this was going to be my favorite of the batch so far. However, I was not prepared for the absolutely haunting piece of art that was the rest of this song.
Every album you release just has a palpable atmosphere to it and I am loving the raw/unhinged emotions you are pouring into Oblivion Part 2 so far. Stay Awesome, Crywolf!

Isn't datura a plant? I remember ingesting that plant and it was at hell's door, every emotion thrown at me at once. I just feel like this song really describes that moment very well. Such a beautiful flower that can cause so much pain. I still don't feel the same thinking about it. Anyways, I really love your music, couldn't wait to hear this one. Your music always stirs that part in me I can't quite describe, it's amazing.

Woah ❤ With every song you amaze deeper, than before 🖤🥀
It's like a neverending battle where two different voices talk into one ear each, dragging the canvas from one side to another, speeding up the pace, or making it so slow, it barely moves. So much chaos and splitting nature.
Trying to follow both at once is impossible, but one needs to know both of them to get the whole picture

I learned about datura from reddit a few days ago, and was looking for documentary style videos on youtube about it and found this. I recognized your name from Halloween, 1987 which has become one of my favorite songs so I saved it to listen to later. pleased to hear such a different style. i'm looking forward to giving it another close listen later with headphones :)

Paroxysm: a sudden attack or violent expression of a particular emotion. This song encapsulates that perfectly.
