So much of the content online is like fast food for the mind - it exploits our impulses. Videos about gossip or drama get us to click, but after the video is over, we've gained nothing in exchange for our most valuable assets - our time and attention. I want After Skool to be resource that is educational, entertaining and when you leave this video you will feel like you have gained something. Be careful where you focus your attention. If you don't have a plan, you become a part of someone else's plan. Anyways, there's my little rant. I hope you enjoyed this video! “As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.”

Isn't it crazy how we simultaneously live in the safest times yet are at each other's throats with even more stress than we had when we were actually being chased by lions.

Great video and drawings as always! Last year I was out of balance but I learned some things to get out of my burnout. 1. quit social media for at least 1 month. 2. Stop looking at the news! 3. Breathing excersize (wim hof breathing rounds). 4. Listing to singing bowls while laying on bed. 5. Connect with nature by walks and take a swim (especially the cold waters). 6. And when I felt better, I started to get to my workouts again and feel great now :) If you feel stressed, maybe this will help

At 43 yo I’m only now learning the power of the mind and our mindset daily. So much of how you think can and does become reality.

This is frighteningly eye-opening. It is so easy to get "addicted" to negativity which seems like a paradox but you see it more and more I think. 😮

This describes the situation I am in after more than a decade suffering from a car crashing into me and the loss, pain, trauma, disability it caused. Life is not fair. It is hard. Too often too hard for some. This vid helps. Grateful.
