My shooting has improved immensely after I taught myself to shoot with my “entire body.” This sort of lines up with Steph saying to shoot “from the ground up.” This has helped me shoot way quicker off the dribble/catch, as well as improved my ability to shoot off balance shots. With off balance shots, I make sure that my feet and follow through always end up towards the rim by the time I land.

This is the best video I have seen in my life. After learning for more than a month and beating your brother just made me so happy because you reached your goal. I got into basketball so hard I try to laern new things and this vide not only gave me the knowledge but also inspiration. Thank you mate!

Great video. You made huge progress and gave us hope that hard work with knowledge equals success. One area you can continue to improve on is to keep your guide hand straight and on the ball all the way through the release. That was one of my problems and when I focused on it, it improved my shooting a lot.

When you put in the work and feel discouraged because the results don’t match the effort I always think to an analogy that Greg Popovich told the Spurs. “A sculptor can strike a stone one thousand times without result and then on the stroke one thousand and one, the stone breaks.” That has stuck with me and keeps the motivation there to push through.

I felt this same way in 10th grade. I felt like I would never master the 3 pt shot. Step forward 1 year of practicing on my own all the time. I shot 42% from 3 in 11th grade and 51% in 12th. I got 1 D-1 offer. That's all I wanted! You got this man. It just takes more time than 50 day to master. GOOD LUCK!

This was so cool. Very well done and relatable. I felt the frustration when you were in the car. Without that I wouldn't have realized how truly bummed you were when you started trying longer shots. Just shows the universal truth that improvement takes focus, hard work and being intentional plus patience with the journey. Congrats! Inspires me to apply myself at...something. lol

My brother saw the comments about his defence, and decided to make a video trying to improve! Check it out to see how our rematch went after he trained like the NBA’s best defender!! https://youtu.be/Apyq2OBYIJE
