Holford in the Quantocks is quite literally my back yard for riding! Awesome to see 15 minutes of fame for some familiar topography. 😂 The things we get excited about! 😂
That first big decent looked like it might've been Smith's Combe? Super steep & rocky at first, leading into an overgrown swoopy section with a load of stream crossings to the end? Then the climb out is hell in any direction!
Shame I wasn't out over the weekend to bump into you - not that I would've kept up on my old analogue steed!

Thanks for this Juliet as it might help with the mockers of ebikes. Sad that there's still the need to constantly justify the use of ebikes. They do exactly as you say, extend the duration you are able to do in the time available, help keep us cycling when we might be tempted to listen to the 'bad voices' telling us we shouldn't / can't &, importantly for me, allow a mixed group to cycle together instead of excluding some folks.. There's a place for everything so if you are happy on your on bike great but please don't dis those who use ebikes of whatever type.

I love my E-Bikes so thanks for being brave and showing E-Bike content :) The way I introduce the concept of an E-Bike to a cycling purist is as a "stationary bike you can take outside" because you can increase or decrease the resistance by adjusting the assist. With E-Bikes I focus on my heart rate instead of distance travelled. For example, on the way to work I hover around 120-130 bpm. On the way home I bounce between 140-165 bpm as I don't need to worry about arriving presentable.
