THE PODCAST - TEENAGERS "The other side of the sleeve": the story of album creation - CHAPTER 2/4

Facing digitalization of music, the physical album format is losing its popularity. Apart from vinyl aficionados who remain a tiny minority of contemporary listeners, the link between the listener and the phonographic object has been lost: credits, names of recording, mixing and mastering studios, collaborators, the writing and production process, acknowledgements... Through this podcast, we hope to give a voice back to the creators of music, be they composers, mixers, musicians, arrangers... In short, to give voice to the lost part of albums. The format is intended to be free, conceived with the artist in mind, while always allowing access to the behind-the-scenes, to a certain history of these artisanal productions, while leaving the parts of mystery and shadow that the artist sees fit to preserve.

For French 79 and the album Teenagers, the guests are as follows:
- Olivia Merilahti / Prudence: singer, notably on the track You Always Say
- Damien Quintard: sound engineer and founder of Miraval Studios with Brad Pitt, who mixed the album
- Jean-Michel Jarre: producer and musician, who lent his studio and keyboards to the recording of Teenagers
- Bertrand Jamot and Phil Tytgat, aka Cauboyz: duo of graphic designers/illustrators/typesetters/photographers and film-makers, responsible for the album cover and all graphic art direction for French 79.
