Being unacquainted with Absinthe's characteristics, I bought a bottle and when I realized I had quite a bit, I put water in it to get the level up so the rest of the family wouldn't notice how much I drank. The way my heart sank when the clear green turned milky white when I added the water is something I can laugh at now. At the time, I was questioned about this and had to admit what I did.

Thanks! Very well made, covered the essential facts. I have been drinking real absinthe since 2003. One note: AFAIK, the Swiss also produced vertes in the 19th century. There were some famous Swiss brands like Berger, which was a verte, although I remember that a Berger Blanche did also exist.
