Sometimes, his friends would witness the abuse and laugh. His mom found out when we moved out and cried, she cried. It broke my heart. She didn't see what was happening. Somehow, she didn't put the pieces together when we were asking her for clothes, when she had to pick us up from school every single day and babysit us, when she saw us in the same clothes every day, or even when we took extra food to his house. My mom provided us with clothes, food, and things that we needed.
