I'm 61 years old and haven't been so obsessed about music for years. Yungblud has restored my faith in the energy and love and pure uplifting joy that really inspiring music can put in my heart. I start my day my listening to him and it sets me up for dealing with whatever shit is thrown at me at the moment. Lyrically wonderful, musically brilliant, performance just perfection. I bounce around like a geriatric loon, he makes me so happy. And yes, I might be old, but I relate to so much of what he's about. He makes me laugh, he makes me cry. I just love how this song involves death and its title is literally 'The Funeral", but it actually promotes staying alive. Because when we're dreaming about how we wanna die, we might feel like no one pays attention and we're completely alone, and maybe this is a way they would care, but the song says "Nobody came", and so then what's the point of dying? Why not rather stay alive and live life for its small, everyday pleasures?
