I'm a writer (not published or anything. I just write as a little side hobby) and the pure emotion in this is exhilarating. I can imagine my protagonist, surrounded by his closest allies and dearest friends, rushing for cover and trying their very best to protect each other as the world, quite literally, caves in around them. I see him sobbing, knowing death is only seconds away as debris from buildings and chunks of earth fall atop them.
