In this video, I take a break from making floortiles, to make some shop signs instead.
The first sign I make is for general stores / pawn shops / markets; the sign is of the clink symbol (basically their version of the dollar or euro symbol). Every town has at least one general store; which may have specific or randomized stock, and will buy any item, food, armor, or weapon you have to sell.
The second sign I made is for restaurants, which sell food items. They don't buy anything, but each one is unique. Every town has one.
The third sign is for postbanks. In postbanks, you can store unlimited items, and also mail items or letters to characters in the game, either for quests or in-game occurrences like your family's birthdays.
After that, I make the sign for pharmacies. Most towns have one, and they sell medicines and bandages and stuff like that. They'll also buy plants to use as medicinal ingredients.
After that I make a bunch of transit station signs.
First I make one for ships, which you can charter passage on in most port towns.
Next, I make a transit sign for sand skeeter rentals (to cross the desert) or for the skeeterway (a track full of sand skeeters that loops through the city of Quipent).
Then I make the transit sign for the Octage gondola, and then for the Denarius rickshaw guild.
Next I make signs for the weapon, armor, and weapons and armor stores. They buy and sell those respective things, as well as materials for those.
Next, I make the sign for teambuilding activities (fun things like museums or glass-bottom boat rides you can do with your companions to learn more about them and the world).
Lastly, I make just a generic informative sign.
