As a PhD student life can be absolutely chaotic, solitary and frustrating. It was during one of those times in 2021 when I couldn't figure out what to do next in my projects. I randomly opened youtube and I saw Juice Wrld in my recommendations. I hit play, and I never turned back. I went to read about him and sadly he had passed on. It has been a year and each day I am in the lab, I find these unreleased songs then start writing code. Some people think his music is sad but I draw inspiration from it. His music has accompanied me during my study, I am happy that this legend was born and left such a powerful legacy. Long Live 999!

He's multi gen, multi genre and by far the most talented persons we will encounter in our musical lifetime. I grew up on the east coast in the 90s listening to everything from biggie to korn. Fast forward to 39 years of age and I'm still blown away by the amount of talent this man portrayed in his short life. RIP 999. Carry on the sounds

As an addict in recovery who still gets the urge to use, juice helps keep me sober in all honesty. The words he speaks & how he puts it together resonates through so many of us & is an amazing way to remember to stay on the right path and keep pushing to do better and reach our goals. It may sound funny or crazy to some but it’s the truth. When I’m feeling down or feel like using, I play this 2 hour along with others & instantly feel better, it’s like an instant dopamine release and I start to forget about getting high or even feeling down & just vibe and lose myself in the music. It’s beautiful and no other artist has ever done that for me. I thank The Lord he blessed us with Someone like Juice who’s able to paint us the visuals through his art that we feel on the daily and can’t articulate or let out. Along with his work ethic and so many songs recorded he was truly a blessing to the world 🤝🏽💙
