"Time Is Now" was the lead-off single from Moloko's third LP "Things To Make And Do". Released in March 2000 it hit number 2 in the UK singles chart. It was nominated for Best British Video and Single at the 2001 Brit Awards. The track also features in Grand Theft Auto V (Non Stop Pop Channel) and was used extensively on Sky Sports' 2004 English Premier League football coverage.

IMO, this song is Moloko's masterpiece . Those 4 little piano notes starting after the middle of the song and running softly to the end are totally modifying the mood making it melancholic . It's pure genius .

Just a few hours ago I heard my best friend, in a final act of desperation, ended his own life, he would have been 50 next month, he has been my friend for 34 years, and this was his favorite song! He could dance to it like no one else.
