Yā€™all gotta realize all Kendrick said was F the big 3 itā€™s just big meā€ thatā€™s just a statement, Cole then went and shit on his catalog. He even said he wanted to keep it peaceful and he didnā€™t(according to his standards) so he took what he said back. Dude literally said ā€œif I beef With a rapper it going to be legit, wonā€™t be for clout and wonā€™t be for fameā€ he stood on business

I respect him being a man and stating how he feels. BUT this is HIP HOP Battling is THE CORNERSTONE of the culture. Itā€™s what rap was built on. From neighborhood to neighborhood and city to city.

Itā€™s clear what happened. He heard Drakes diss and understood that this was quickly going to move away from competition. Drakes infatuation with other dudes girls and sloppy seconds makes it impossible for it to not get personal.

Cole wanted to battle lyrically but he realized he caught a stray in a war. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ He was nope. I donā€™t want any part of that.

I feel Cole fans arenā€™t fully understanding what the problem is. Itā€™s not the fact he apologized, everyone respects that decision. The problem is for 15 plus years heā€™s been claiming king and that he would destroy any rapper on the mic, then when the chance comes he then decides to back down. He couldā€™ve said nothing. If anything if he wouldā€™ve said what he said and NOT drop a track then it would be all good. But the fact of the matter is he dropped a track, he JUST said on his last album heā€™s the greatest and that heā€™d kill anyone on the mic and that heā€™s number1. How is it hard to understand why the entire rap and hip hop world is frustrated or mad at a Cole? We respect what he said but donā€™t go saying something youā€™re clearly not and stop inviting problems to your doorsteps when you know good and damn well you arenā€™t going to do anything.

I respect Cole for speaking how he felt. I feel like Cole, without trying exposed how toxic hip hop culture is.

That apology was one of the softest moves in recent memory, and Cole definitely tarnished his legacy. I don't wanna hear that "protecting my peace" stuff. I can't think of another supposed great who was afraid to engage.

Much respect to Cole for ADULTING and being transparent! Also, they should talk if Cole wants to. Kiss moves honorably so I'm hopeful it's a safe space for an authentic chat between them.

You're not the greatest if you can't battle. Period. This aint rock, or soul, or R&B. This is Hip-Hop. This is competition. You don't get to claim that you're a GOAT on the mic if you don't battle. That's the tradition. Since when has hip hop been about being the bigger man? It's about domination. PERIOD.

I believe Cole realizes that other cultures donā€™t beef, they push theirs forward. Hiphop is filled with so much beef and bodies. Cole just wants to collab and make the culture better.
