My parents saw The Cure live when I was in my mum's belly and they named me after this song and I was born the same year the album Wish came out, 1992.

As I walked into my dark bedroom and layed on my bed and had the radio tuned into the only alternative music station on AM in Phoenix, AZ, The Cure's 'A Letter To Elise' came on. The last single from their album 'Wish'. As I laid there in the darkness, I strangely reminisced about my life. It was the end of my adolescence. And my life as I knew it changed drastically after that November night in 1992. Thank you to The Cure for another major bookmark in my life. It couldn't have been done by a better song and band.
