In the short video you will see Bandit practicing drop, a short stay then sit and being rewarded before being released. Apart from being taught these things separately he is learning to focus and listen from being taught to follow on command after the other. This is often referred to as "chaining" and it gives you the advantage of keeping your dog's focus on you because it will learn to listen for the next command or the release command before receiving its reward.
