I’ve seen a coyote climb a crabapple tree and eat the apples. Most carnivores will eat grasses and leaves of some type.

How about the nugget and oreo diet? Carnivore is a ketogenic diet and, because of the sugars, Paul Saladino's fruit / meat diet is not ketogenic.

Carnivore means “meat eater.” So you can still say I eat a carnivore and fruit diet.

Let's use the same argument for Veganism for a moment, if a Vegan were to consume fish or eggs, enough to only substitute 1-2% of their daily caloric intake, you and I would not consider them Vegan.
Eating fruit in any capacity, whilst claiming you're carnivore is as asinine as the Vegan who eats eggs claims they're still Vegan.
If you eat plants, on this diet, you are not on this diet.

Animal based doesn’t mean eating a massive amount of fruit. You primarily eat nose to tail of the animal (typically cow) and fruit is minimal. This is not intended to be disrespectful, just pointing it out. I eat an animal based diet and the fruit intake is such a small part of it.
