Or should we approach them with a sense of curiosity and inquiry? Why do we seek out new authors and philosophies? What drives us to explore new perspectives? Is reading solely for inspiration? Can we formulate our own philosophy of life through reading and reflection?

Reading philosophy is no easy task. To make the most of it, we must set clear goals and objectives for ourselves. As we read, we should keep an open mind and remember that the ideas we encounter are simply the opinions of the authors, based on their experiences in life. These ideas are not absolute truths. Therefore, it's our moral responsibility to analyse what we read and decide for ourselves whether we agree with it or not.
