A lot of people miss the point that Luke and Percy SPOILERS FOR SHOW WATCHERS ONLY: actually share the same opinion (and so does clarisse and Chris for example) but Luke went the wrong (very wrong) way about it. Anyway, the tragedy of the Thalia/Luke ship is so damn good like sure they won’t ever be together but they liked each other enough that he decided to kill all gods when she died and she decided to never be with a guy ever again after he met his fate.

Honestly the fact that Luke and Thalia had feelings for each other (which were confirmed) makes it ten times worse. She ‘died’ and when she woke up she was told that her best friends (and cruch) had turned out evil It makes their fight sene in book three so much sadder especially when she’s about to hurt him with tears in her eyes she says “He’s a traitor.” Even Luke was said to look ashamed for a split second 😭
