Yes, for a Volkswagen. But not all cars. I used to sell VWs and a great trick I used to show people is on the older VWs, you could insert the key into the door lock, and turn it to the left twice and hold it to the left on the second turn, and it would put all the windows down in case you forgot - maybe in hot weather. Double turn twice to the right and the windows and sunroof would close all at once. Many didn't even know their cars did that.

My husband saw this a few weeks ago and tried the 1st hack….AND IT WORKS! My daughter’s sunroof opened, too…..but not my sunroof; and it’s a newer car….but different make of car.
