The serratus anterior is an important muscle that sits underneath your shoulder blade and wraps around the side to your ribs. It plays a significant role in keeping your scapula moving optimally when reaching overhead.
Sometimes when we don’t have optimal stability of the shoulder blade, the scapula can “wing out” leading to the popular term – scapular winging.
Don’t view winging scapula as a diagnosis but instead a description of movement quality. Whenever I see a scapula winging out with clients of mine, I use it as a guide to investigate further if their shoulder stabilizers need a bit of strengthening. These exercises involve some form of scapular protraction, which helps target the Serratus Anterior muscle.
✅If you have been dealing with shoulder pain or address your winging scapula, these are some movements you may benefit from!

Thank you. I have a 5mm by 3mm tear on my superspinatus tendon. I did not know the % of the tear un I revised that the diameter of the superspinatuos must is 5.3 mm; that is when I realized I had almost a full thickness tear. I was exposed to a chemical that caused my whole left arm to suffer from tendon and muscle tear. I don't know that that chemical is but it cause multiple month of inflamation of all the joint of my left arm. Is started with a bursitis after that multiple tears in the whole left arm with multiple tendon tear in the shoulder by itself even my nucles had a ruptured capsul . I had an mri that showed that I have severe orthoritis just a fiew moths after having done the first MRI. SEVERE OTHORITISE in just a fiew months just after that chemical exposure.

I can't simply get mine to wake up. I'm pretty sure I began tearing my bicep by trying to protractions. It's a nightmare when they wing. Nothing works 😢
