What story I got from watching the video: as shown in the short this guy sees a man setting up neck traps. He then notices the man isn’t coming back so he rides away after hiding the axe in the trapper’s bag. He comes back with his engine off, hides his bike and climbs a tree nearby. The trapper comes back after a while and swears about bikers being something bad after he notices his axe missing and proceeds to do his trapping work (I think). After he walks under the tree the biker is in, the biker jumps on him and knocks him out. The biker proceeds to tie him to a tree with his own cable(dragging him as shown in the first second of the video). He then argues with the trapper and even threatens him, swinging the hatchet he picked up from the hidden spot at the tree above the trappers head. This arguing goes on and the bikers mom works in real estate and threatens the man if he ever sees a trap again and leaves him tied up and steals his bag full of stuff.

So for the people who don’t know, the pit on a nearly invisible rope that’s very sharp and when you drive into it you can die very easily and in some cases the neck falls of, or it didn’t manage to get trough, but it’s stuck in your necks bone and you just sit there hanging in that case..

I grew up in a town in CT and on the last day of school of 8th grade a kid was killed by one of these. It was two 6th graders whose parents ended up helping them flee to CA. they extradited them back to CT and charged them as adults years later or something I heard.

This happened in my youth. But we were taught to track while hunting. It led us a mile and half to a small house off the country road. Long story short, he said it was because we would ride up and down his road. He decided to go on private land and do this.

I wrecked out on one of these traps about 10 years ago. But it was set tire height across the trail. I flew 40 foot down the road and approximately 10 foot off the ground my friend said. I was in 5th gear wide open on my Kx 125 2 stroke

So, people who dont want to look for the explanation, ill explain.
The man who ran deeper into the forest was actually someone who tried to set deadly neck traps for bikers. He was the guy who HighGear dragged in the first scene. HighGear found an axe in his backpack and decided to hide it. after that he got off his bike somewhere, climbed up into a tree which the man didnt see him before he came back, and right when the man was infront of the tree searching for the axe, HighGear jumped on him, and made him pass out.
He decided to make him sit infront of another tree where the man tied the cable on. He took the cable off, tied the man up, went back to his bike and woke him up with his bike. He eventually confronted the man to ask him wtf he was doing setting deadly neck traps for bikers. He said that he owned this forest and the biker said "its my first time being here." when the man was tied up, he eventually hit the tree with the axe right next to his head to taunt him.

This happened to a kid in my grade, the neighbors got annoyed of the noise and they put up a trap. He collapsed his trachea when he hit the rope and died right there. My brother was riding with him all day, I’m so glad he wasn’t taken out by that deranged neighbor as well. He was 13 years old, RIP Nick.
