Delmar Haynes may have the sweetest job in the world. He’s as professional honey taster for the Sue Bee Honey Association in Waycross, Ga. To create a consistent flavor for every bottle the plant produces Delmar tastes up to 12 different kinds of honey every day. There are high-tech tools involved but he always starts with the basics – He slurps honey with his finger. There’s one. more thing. Delmar Haynes has a deep dark secret we tricked him into revealing.
