Just started the audiobook of “The Storyteller” today…always knew Dave was a talented songwriter and musician, but he’s a DAMN good author too?! This man never ceases to amaze me. Keep on rockin’ in the free world Foos!🤘🏼🎸

If you haven’t spent time with Dave’s project “Play,” check it out! He wrote a 23-min piece of instrumental music & played every instrument. He started with the drums, of course. After getting through laying that track down, he would then play the next instrument on top of the drum, the whole way through, etc. Each track was also video recorded, and one of my favorite things to watch is the isolated drum track video. I also love just listening to the 23-min drum track! ❤

Foo Fighters is band of hard-rocking, kick-ass tunes, but it’s also about hope. I can’t say how many times this band has saved my life and kept me going. Losing someone is nothing to blink at. Time to process and take stock is crucial. As y’all say: ‘It’s times like these, you learn to live again.’
That being said, I recall Dave using music as his healing process in times before. I hope new tunes are inbound, but I’d wait a decade if it meant my favorite band got the time they needed to heal. Thank you so much for making new music! It means more than you know.
