There is a place here in New Orleans where they have jam nights. They will allow almost anyone to get on stage as long as you have an instrument and play with other people. They usually cap it at about 7 on the stage at one time. It's fantastic. Some of the best jazz and blues I've ever seen in my life. The trumpet in saxophone players I've seen on that stage were crazy good!
